Call for ITC, YRI and DC Conference Grants!

Conference Grants Call of CYPHER CA22151 accepts applications to be submitted from May 15th to May 31st for the period from June 1^st, 2026, to September 30^th, 2026.

ITC Grants

The ITC Conference grants funds for an oral presentation of their own work within the scope of the Action by an Action Participant affiliated with a legal entity located in an Inclusiveness Target Country / Near Neighbour Country in a high-level conference fully organized by a third party, i.e. not organized nor co-organized by the COST Action.

YRI Grants

YRI Conference grant funds a presentation (poster/oral presentation) of their own work by a Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI) under the age of 40 in a high-level conference fully organized by a third party, i.e. not organized nor co-organized by the COST Action.

Dissemination Conference (DC) Grants

Dissemination Conference Grants support the participation of Action participants in high-level conferences to present the work of the Action. (Only apply to this if you aim to disseminate about the action)

Currently, CYPHER calls for Dissemination Conference Grants applications targeting participation at conferences that will take place before September 30th, 2026.

Application Timeline

🎤 Open of call: May 15th, 2026.

🛑 Deadline for application: May 31st, 2026.

🗓️ The Conference must take place between June 1st and September 30^th, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

The CYPHER Evaluation Committee will evaluate all applications in the light of the objectives of the Action Grant Period. 

The eligibility criteria are:

• Does the conference (or topic of the panel etc.) fall within the remit of CYPHER?
• Is the topic of the conference proposal within the remit of COST Action CYPHER and will it likely make a significant contribution to the debates within the action?
• Is the proposal internally coherent, logical, with a clearly discernible structure?
• Is the presentation likely to make a significant contribution to the candidate’s scientific and professional development?
• Preference will be given to papers being submitted to conferences with competitive peer review.
• Gender balance will be taken into account.

The evaluation will be carried out by the Grant Awarding Coordinator with an evaluation committee and the decision will be communicated to the applicant before June 15th, 2026.
