WG1 - Renewable Synthetic Fuels (RSF) Combustion

OBJECTIVES

This Working Group is dedicated to advancing the understanding of renewable synthetic fuels' combustion properties and developing innovative combustion technologies. Our interdisciplinary team of researchers focuses on creating new knowledge and collecting high-fidelity experimental data to validate and improve numerical simulation approaches.

We aim to assess the feasibility of RSFs combustion in various industrial conditions and optimize sensor placement for accurate data gathering.

ESTABLISH

protocols for assessing RSFs combustion feasibility in diverse experimental conditions.

IMPLEMENT

advanced sensing techniques using optical diagnostics and ML algorithms.

CHARACTERIZE

hydrogen and hydrogen carriers, focusing on kinetic properties and interaction with turbulence.
