CYPHER 3rd General Meeting

Call for Abstracts & Registration – is CLOSED

We are pleased to announce that Registration for the 3rd General Meeting of the CYPHER COST Action is now officially open. The meeting will take place at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Türkiye, from 6–8 May 2026.

This international event will bring together researchers and experts across CYPHER’s four Working Groups to advance collaborative research in Renewable Synthetic Fuel (RSF) Combustion and the decarbonisation of Energy-Intensive Industries (EIIs).

💶 Registration Details

• Registration fee: 120€
• Social Dinner & Bosphorus Cruise (Thursday, 7 May 2026): If you would like to bring a guest, an additional 120€ fee applies.

📢 Call for Abstracts

Submission Guidelines:

• File format: PDF
• File name: WGX_SurnameName (e.g., WG2_SmithJohn)
• Template and submission link: https://cypher26.eventigizer.app/portal/main/dashboard
• Deadline: 27th March 2026. (We recommend submitting your abstracts before the week of March 25th, 2026, as e-cost invitations for participation will be sent out during that week.)

Note: Abstract submission does not guarantee reimbursement; eligibility follows COST rules and available budget.

Agenda

📌 Poster & Presentation Format
All participants will present their submitted abstracts as posters, accompanied by a 3-minute poster pitch (find Poster pitches program in the Agenda). A dedicated poster session will be scheduled on the agenda to allow in-depth discussion and exchange.

📐 Posters should be prepared and printed in A0 format.

🏆 Poster Competition
A scientific committee will evaluate the poster presentations and overall performance. The winner of the poster competition will be announced on the final day (Friday).

• Gender balance
• Abstract quality and evaluation
