On 1st November, CYPHER celebrated its second birthday and marked the beginning of Grant Period 3!
As we celebrate the start of Grant Period 2, CYPHER is proud to highlight the major achievements from our second year, further strengthening our mission to decarbonize energy-intensive industries.
CYPHER in numbers:
Our network now spans 47 countries, bringing together a truly international community.
CYPHER COST action awarded 24 grants, supporting researcher mobility, collaboration, and contribution to high-level conferences.
Among our members, 271 are Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) and 108 are women, highlighting our commitment to diversity and early-career development.
Key Activities & Highlights
Workshops: Two large workshops gathered more than 60 researchers each, offering rich opportunities for knowledge exchange and group collaboration.
Training School: CYPHER COST action hosted a Training School attended by 65 participants and run by 10 expert trainers, helping to build research capacity and methodological skills.
General Meeting in Krakow: Over 73 participants joined the meeting, 54 of whom were reimbursed, enabling productive discussions, presentations, and networking.
Looking Forward
Our third General Meeting is already scheduled in Istanbul (6–8 May 2026), where we’ll continue to build on our momentum with new working group sessions, stronger collaboration, and advanced training opportunities.
